CROATIAN dairy firm Dukat has increased its stake in KIM Dairy to 91.4% for an estimated €3.0 million, according to local reports. Dukat, a subsidiary of French dairy giant Lactalis, held a 66.96% stake in the company previously. Based in Karlovac in central Croatia, KIM manufactures UHT milk, fresh milk, cheese, spreads, yogurts and desserts. Dukat said it plans to invest HRK143.4 million (US$29.1 million) in KIM during the next five years.
