GLUBOKSKIY, a fruit and vegetable cannery in Belarus, is to open a new line for canning green peas, according to Agrooglyad. Processing equipment worth €2.0 million is being ordered from Croatia and the line should be operational in July, quadrupling the plant's output to four tonnes/hour. Product will be packed in cans and also in screw-top glass jars. The company is also installing an apple juice concentrate production line.
