New Mozambique plant

A NEW fruit processing factory starts up in December in the southern Mozambican province of Inhambane. The €700 000 plant, funded by the government's Agricultural Promotion Fund, will can a variety of local fruits, with a capacity of five tonnes of fruit per hour. Fruits grown in Inhambane include mangoes, pineapples, oranges and tangerines.
