COCA-Cola India is looking for locations in northern India for its new fruit pulp and concentrate processing plants. According to India's Business Standard , quoting Venkatesh Kini, Coca Cola India's marketing vicepresident, the company is looking for "multiple locations". Coke has recently launched its Minute Maid Pulpy Orange in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. The company has a processing unit in Andhra Pradesh at Chittoor to cater to the market in the south of the country. For the northern states, the company presently imports from China. Kini added that after consolidating its position in the orange pulp and juice market, Coke would move into processing other fruit varieties.
