This article was originally published in Foodnews

COCA-Cola Bottling Co Consolidated, which operates in 11 US states, has reported net sales of USD782.5 million for the first half of 2011, up from USD764.9 million in the equivalent half of 2010. On a comparable basis, the company earned USD18.6 million in the first half, versus USD21.3 million in the first half of 2010.
