COCA-Cola Brazil has launched a new ready-to-drink nectar containing Truvia, a stevia-based sugar substitute developed jointly by Coca-Cola and Cargill. The Del Valle Laranja Caseira Light orange nectar with Truvia, which will appear on shelves from July this year, is a preservative free 'light' drink and the first of its kind in the country. "Del Valle Laranja Caseira Light with Truvia has heralded a new era in the ready-to-drink nectar market," said John Pinto, director of marketing for new drinks at Coca-Cola Brasil.
