Slovenian soft drinks maker posts large loss

bottler and brewer in Slovenia, posted a EUR30.2 million (USD42.06 mln) loss in
2013 on sales revenues of around EUR267 mln (down 2%).
The group sold 3.89 mln hectolitres of beverages in 2013, a slight improvement
over the 3.79 mln hl sold in 2012. Beverage sales abroad increased 10.6% to
1.35 mln hl in 2013.
Lasko forecasts total sales will increase to 4.0 mln hl in 2014, with 62.5% of
sales realised in Slovenia.
The group recently brokered a deal with its 18 creditor banks, extending the
maturity of existing loans until the end of 2016.
