AFTER more than 14 years in the spice industry working for other companies it seemed a logical progression for Gregoire Courme to set up his own company, Aromatum, last October. Four months down the line and he freely admits that the move had not been without its challenges. However, he was prepared for this likelihood. After all, when one of your key product specialisations is cloves you can be assured of having to brace yourself for a difficult trading environment at times.
