CBOT Review: Wheat advances on bullish USDA reportThis article was originally published in The Public Ledger
WHEAT futures at the Chicago Board of Trade advanced on Friday after four straight days of declines. Some of the strength was associated with a supportive USDA crop report on Friday, analysts said. Friday's USDA report suggested global wheat ending stocks in the 2011/12 crop year at 209.58 million tonnes, down from February's data of 213.10 million. The numbers also beat analyst's expectations of 212.608 million tonnes.
