Iran takes more rice

RICE imports by Iran during the nine months starting March 20, 2012, increased by 3.3% compared with a year earlier, according to statistics released by the Iranian Customs Administration. The country imported 897,000 tonnes of rice worth $884m during the period. The main sources of rice were India, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.
