This article was originally published in The Public Ledger

UGANDA’S coffee exports fell by just under 1% year-on-year in December to 240,403 60kg bags from 242,301 bags a year before, after heavy rains made roads impassable from some rural areas, the state-run Uganda Coffee Development Authority said. Harvests were “fairly good” in central and southwestern Uganda. Exports in November were 233,401 bags.
