Uganda cocoa output set to rise

UGANDA’S cocoa production is set to rise to 19,000 tonnes in the 2011/12 season from 17,900 tonnes in 2010/11, helped by favourable weather and maturing trees, Joseph Kimera, head of the state-run Cocoa Development Project said on Monday.
