BRITISH baker Warburtons and long-term wheat supplier Openfield have added two new positions to span both businesses by enhancing the work they do on variety identification through to product development. As part of a joint strategic alliance team, the pair will create a commercial manager position with responsibilities similar to that of a category manager working for a national retailer and a technical manager position responsible for variety selection and development in a similar manner to that of a specialist plant breeder. The positions will be advertised in May. In addition, Cecilia Pryce is now an analyst working for Openfield Agriculture.
