Brazil cocoa arrivals increase

COCOA deliveries to warehouses in Brazil’s main producing state of Bahia rose in the last week, Bahia Commercial Association said, and the flow of beans from other states remained above the average level of the previous years. Brazil’s October to April mid crop harvest is now well past its peak, but Bahia-based analyst Thomas Hartmann said output in recent weeks has been higher than usual, partly due to clearing of stocks in smaller cocoa states other than Bahia.
