INDONESIA’S PT Astra Agro Lestari sold 1.25m tonnes of crude palm oil in 2011, increasing by about 12% from 1.11m tonnes in 2010. Astra Agro Lestari said in a stock exchange filing that it sold 1.19m tonnes, or 95.3% of the total volume to the domestic market. The figure of domestic sales increased 16.8% against 1.02m tonnes in 2010. Allied with this, Astra Agro Lestari’s exports of crude palm oil declined 32.1% to 59,418 tonnes in 2011 from 87,473 tonnes in 2010.
