Ukraine grain shift

UKRAINIAN agriculture consultancy UkrAgroConsult has reduced its 2010 grain crop forecast for the country to 39.24m tonnes from the previous outlook of 39.52m tonnes. The consultancy said in a report it cut this year's wheat harvest forecast to 17.2m tonnes from 17.46m tonnes and left unchanged the forecast for maize and barley. Ukraine harvested 46m tonnes of grain in 2009.
