DEL Monte has launched a new advertising campaign in the US aiming to revamp consumers’ perception of canned fruits, vegetables and tomatoes, the California Canning Peach Association reports. The campaign is called “Bursting With Life” and will include TV, print and digital advertising, as well as utilising social media. The adverts focus on health, emphasising the fact that canned foods are packed when at their ripest and contain the same essential nutrients as fresh produce.
