LEMON juice concentrate (400gpl) into the US is presently priced at USD13.00 per gallon ex-dock, according to the Food Institute Report . This is equivalent to USD2 064 per tonne. US lemon juice was last seen priced at USD19.00/gallon, and the new crop from Mexico arrives in November, so processors are clearing stocks. Mexico has just finished running its limes and prices for 400gpl concentrate are put at USD7.00/gallon, at the Mexico border. NASS forecasts the US lemon crop at 888 000 tonnes, up 4% from last year’s utilisation. Arizona’s crop is up 127% after groves recovered from a major freeze last year.
