This article was originally published in Foodnews

NESTLE USA has named Hannah Coan vice president, corporate & brand affairs, following the retirement of Laurie MacDonald from the same position. MacDonald joined Nestlé in 1985 working in the nutritional products division before joining corporate and brand affairs. Coan was most recently senior vice president of Waggener Edstrom Public Relations, leading communications for Microsoft’s Office division. Prior to this, she was executive vice president and managing director of Publicis Consultants PR in Seattle, Washington. “Hannah Coan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Nestlé USA’s, and we look forward to having her build on the strong foundation established by her predecessor,” said Scott Remy, Nestlé USA chief communications officer. Coan will be responsible for the company’s internal and external communications, public affairs and the Culinary Centre based in Glendale, California.
