Truvia launched in Venezuela

CARGILL’s stevia-based sweetener, Truvia, is now on sale in Venezuela, marking the product’s entry into the South American market. The latest launch follows Truvia’s introduction to the US, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Mexico. According to Cargill, nearly 50 million households in the US have purchased products made with stevia-based sweeteners, up from 43 million one year ago, based on AC Nielsen data. The product range is also being expanded, with the recent launch in the US of Truvia Baking Blend (sugar and Truvia blend) and Truvia Behind the Bar (a foodservice product for creating simple syrups for beverages), while in France, a new pouch has been introduced to refill Truvia spoonable jars.
