Sulpher prunes

THREE brands of prunes have been pulled from supermarket shelves in China for high levels of sulphur dioxide. The producers were identified as the Baili Food Company in Chao’an County, the Lujie Food Company in Jiexi County and the Xiqi Food Company in Pu’ning City. All producers are located in the eastern part of Guangdong Province.Local authorities in Beijing were also said to have found another prune product from Baili Food contaminated with benzoic acid.
