Choc raisins recalled

This article was originally published in Foodnews

WALGREEN Company is recalling certain chocolate raisin packages because they may contain bridge mix, a mixture of peanuts, almonds and soy which are not listed as ingredients. After receiving a consumer complaint of an allergic reaction, Walgreen said it learned that the product manufacturer, GKI Foods of Brighton, had mistakenly packaged bridge mix with chocolate-covered raisin labelling. The recalled packages were distributed through Walgreen distribution centres in Arizona, Connecticut and California and to Walgreen’s retail stores in the north-eastern and western US.
