Foodsphere promo campaign for tuna

PHILIPPINE processor, Foodsphere, is launching a marketing campaign aimed at increasing its market share according to Business Mirror. The campaign is centred on the San Marino corned tuna brand, to increase the company’s share in the domestic market, currently dominated by rival, Century Pacific. Adverts will emphasise the health benefits of the product, which has “less oil. .. and lots of tuna” compared with rivals. Foodsphere has pushed its sales hard in recent years (FOODNEWS 05 November 2010) , and also reported Century Pacific to the Philippines’ Department of Trade and Industry in 2009 for alleged unfair trade practices.
