LEA and Perrins is to sell two new units in New Jersey, taking them over from real estate company, Hampshire Companies. The Worcester sauce and marinade producers, which are owned by H.J. Heinz, are to use the 39 000 sq ft site to produce concentrates which will then be shipped to Iowa for the production of Worcester sauce. Citybizlist.com reports that the building used to be Lea and Perrins’ sole production plant, but it has since downsized to the two units.
