Frozen vegetable plant

A VEGETABLE processing plant, Cerro la Gloria, located in Tachira State, Venezuela was opened last week and will process 4 400 tonnes of food this year. With an investment of USD18.3 million from Fonden and Fccv, the plant will create 70 jobs, with an annual production capacity of 422 tonnes of raw salads, 2 112 tonnes of frozen vegetables and 2 112 tonnes of root vegetables and tubers.
