Innocent launches in SpainThis article was originally published in Foodnews
INNOCENT, the UK’s smoothie market leader, is moving into Spain. Its smoothies will initially be stocked in 73 Starbucks cafe/restaurants and 25 convenience stores owned by Grupo Vips, a Spanish restaurant and retail operator. Innocent co-founder Richard Reed said the move is part of a plan to increase the company’s sales across Europe. Innocent is 58% owned by Coca-Cola, although contractual terms mean that its three founders, Reed, Adam Balon and Jon Wright retain operational control.
