PERUVIAN first-half fruit pulp exports have more than tripled from last year, by value, to USD6.8 million, according to the latest customs figures. Mexico was the biggest buyer of Peruvian fruit pulp, with purchases doubling to USD3.4 million, the story reported. Exports to the US fell 18% to USD1.8 million, while exports to Spain fell by 17.2%. Avocadoes accounted for 98% of total exports, amounting to around USD6.66 million.
