PREMIER Foods , the UK's largest food company, has named Mike Clarke , currently president of Kraft Foods Europe, as chief executive. Clarke, who will take the helm on 1 September, 2011, succeeds Robert Schofield who (as previously announced) is retiring from the company. In his role at Kraft, Clarke was responsible for managing the group's entire European business, with revenues of USD13 billion. Prior to that, he was president of The Coca-Cola Company, Northwest Europe (including the UK) & Nordics and was with the company for 12 years in a number of senior roles.
