BELARUS exported food and drink products worth USD1.065 billion in the first five months of this year, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The major export items were dairy products (56.2%), meat and meat products (33.2%), casein (2.8%) and eggs (1.6%). Exports were made to 38 countries, three fewer than in January-May 2010. The largest importers of Belarusian products are Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Moldova, the USA, and China. Belarus is running a food and drink trade surplus of USD646.6 million.
