FIVE people have been arrested in connection with the smuggling of 2 500kg of cocaine, hidden in a consignment of canned peaches from Ecuador. The drugs were found in a container in Rotterdam port following a tip-off, DutchNews.nl reports. The five men were picked up over the course of the past two weeks and range in age from 32-59. The public prosecution department says the street value of the drug was EUR80 million (USD113 million).
