Air freight exports decline

AIR freighted mango exports from the Indian state of Gujarat have dropped by almost half this year, mainly due to lower production and late fruit arrivals, reports India's Economic Times. Last year, Gujarat exported 372 tonnes of mango by air while, this year, exporters managed to export only 176 tonnes. Kesar mango arrived very late this year, and prices were around 30% higher than last year.
