Frozen pizza recallThis article was originally published in Foodnews
MCCAIN Foods Australia has recalled thousands of frozen pizzas because they may have metal contamination. Nearly 2 500 cartons, each containing eight pizzas, were shipped to retailers in all states. The affected products are 500g family cheese and bacon pizzas. McCain Foods Australia marketing director, Nicki Anderson, told The Daily Telegraph that it decided to recall the products as soon as it realised the pizzas had been shipped. An investigation is underway to determine the source of the contamination, she added.
