This article was originally published in Foodnews

ESTIMATES of Brazil's orange harvest for the 2011/12 season have been increased again. São Paulo's Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) forecasts the harvest for the state of São Paulo and the western part of Minas Gerais at 390 million (40.8 kilogram) boxes, up three million boxes from the estimate released in May 2011 by the Brazilian Association of Citrus Exporters (CitrusBR) and exactly in the 380-400 million box range predicted by FOODNEWS (FOODNEWS 6 May).
