GOODMAN Fielder , Australasia's leading listed food company, has appointed Chris Delaney as its new chief executive. Delaney, formerly president for Asia-Pacific for the Campbell Soup Company, replaces Peter Margin , who left the company earlier this year. Delaney said there is "significant potential" for the company and its brands in local and regional markets. "Several critical areas I will be looking at closely are the development of regional trade prospects, innovation streams and company's relationships in supply chain management," he said. Delaney had worked with Campbell since 2004, initially as vice-president of sales before becoming president of emerging markets.
