Juice extractor firm to move

JOHN Bean Technologies Corp, formerly known as FMC Technologies and a long-established supplier of citrus processing machinery, is to build a USD16 million facility in Lakeland, Florida, reports The Ledger . The paper says the company will move from its current location at Fairway Avenue in Lakeland to a 142 000 sq.ft. site near Lakeland Linder Regional Airport. The company, which invented the basic citrus juice extractor now in use all over the world, operates its Citrus Systems division in Lakeland and currently employs more than 100 people. It claims its machinery handles 75% of the world's citrus juice.
