Cranberry fraudster caught

This article was originally published in Foodnews

A MAN who defrauded Ocean Spray Cranberries has been arrested in Arizona. James Repetto was reported missing after apparently going for a swim off La Jolla, California, but police, acting on a tip-off, arrested him at an address in Yuma. Repetto, a former Ocean Spray manager, pleaded guilty last autumn in Boston to taking part in a kickback and phony invoice scheme that defrauded Ocean Spray out of USD1.3 million, according to prosecutors. Repetto and a co-defendant are awaiting sentencing and face up to 20 years in prison.
