Orange rival to limoncello

This article was originally published in Foodnews

VALENCIAN company Arancello expects turnover of EUR480 000 (USD669 000) this year through sales of its new artisanal liquor Federica. The company has invested EUR300 000 in the product so far, according to agri-information agency Efeagro . The liquor is said to be similar to Italy's limoncello drink, and for that reason the company expects Federica to do well, aiming for a 30% market share for the product by 2012 in the Spanish market, and a 60% share in Valencia. Arancello will sell Federica bottles through its website and social networks and will be officially launched at the Salón Gourmet 2011 in Madrid from 11-14 April.
