JAVO Beverage Company Inc, a US supplier of premium dispensable coffee and tea-based beverages to the foodservice industry, is to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection at the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The company, which was set up in 2001, amassed a heavy debt for the start-up costs of purchasing its drink-dispenser machines and placing them in thousands of locations around the US, company president Gary Lillian told reporters. The company's clients include convenience store chain 7-Eleven. Its 2009 gross sales were USD23.1 million.
