Britvic on right track

THE weak consumer environment and ongoing challenges in Ireland failed to hamper Britvic and the group said it is on track for the full year. The group, whose brands include Robinsons, Tango and Fruit Shoot, said it outperformed key markets this year and revenues for the 52 weeks rose almost 15% to GBP1.14 billion. Britvic France, whose integration is set to be complete in the coming months, enjoyed particularly good summer trading and category growth, while Britvic International delivered another strong performance with revenue growth of 15%. However, the group continues to battle a continuing difficult consumer environment in Ireland, which has prompted management to conduct a business review.
