US NFC juice storage

This article was originally published in Foodnews

CITROSUCO North America Inc has formally opened its new orange juice storage tanks in the Port of Wilmington, in the US state of Delaware. The company has shipped FCOJ through the port since 1983, but the three new tanks are for storing NFC juice from the company’s plants in Brazil and Florida. They make Citrosuco’s facilities the largest port-side juice tank farm in the US. Citrosuco applied for funding totalling USD15.5 million from New Castle County, Delaware, to build the tanks (FOODNEWS 29 January) and was successful in obtaining USD13.5 million in special bonds.
