SERBIA's Aleksandrovic Winery has presented the initial 13 000-bottle series of the country's first sparkling wine Triumph, produced from Chardonnay wine grapes. Vladimir Pekic writes: The sparkling wine was produced in the Vinca-based winery with technical support from French wine making expert Pierre Yves Bournerias, of France's Instutut Oenologique de Champagne. Bozidar Aleksandrovic, the winery's director and owner, said that Triumph was produced using the traditional method or 'Méthode Champenoise'. The recommended retail price is EUR25.00 per bottle.
