THERE was very little activity in the cashew market in week 35, reports trading house Samsons of Mumbai. Some business was done for W240s around USD3.55 per lb and W320s around USD3.30/lb fob (some buyers/markets paid a few cents higher for good quality, guaranteed supplies). Splits were traded around USD2.80/lb fob. There was steady domestic demand in India for large whole & brokens and prices were higher than international levels.
