AQUARIUS, a mineral sports drink manufactured by the Coca-Cola Company, will now appear in a diet version called Aquarius Libre in Spain. The new sugar-free drink is said to refresh the mind and will be sold in regular and orange flavours in either a 330ml can or 1.5 litre PET bottle. During 2009, 22% of Coca-Cola's sales in Spain were generated by calorie-free and sugar-free drinks. In terms of non-carbonated drinks, Aquarius represents 30% of total sales in the segment. The Coca-Cola Company hopes that Aquarius Libre will appeal to both types of consumers.
