Blood orange back in the UK

This article was originally published in Foodnews

TROPICANA has reintroduced its Sanguinello blood orange juice in the UK. The product, made from 100% Sicilian blood oranges, became unavailable last year (FOODNEWS 3 July 2009), due to a severe shortage of Sicilian fruit, itself the result of a severe frost in the 2008 growing season. The juice is available at Waitrose stores nationwide, packed in one litre cartons and priced at GBP2.99. In addition to being a source of folate, one 200ml glass of Tropicana Sanguinello is claimed to provide a full portion of the recommended five-a-day servings of fruit and vegetables and a full day's supply of Vitamin C.
