FCOJ FUTURES have risen on speculation that hurricanes may damage Florida's orange crop. Orange juice for July delivery rose 2.3 cents, or 1.6%, to USD1.435 per pound solids on 28 May. The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has forecast an active year with 14-23 named storms for the season, which begins on 1 June. Eight to 14 of those will develop into hurricanes, said the NOAA.
