SILVERTAP Wines of California is delivering its wines to bars, restaurants and events in kegs as it is a "cheaper, greener and fresher" alternative to bottled wine, the company said. Silvertap, which prides itself on sustainable and organic grape farming, said it has "successfully married quality with keg and is paving the way for wine on tap". It produces Sauvignon Blanc, Sonoma County Merlot, Sonoma County Chardonnay, and a Cabernet Sauvignon.
