Canned beef recall

CORNED beef products from JBS SA's plant in Lins, Brazil have been recalled and barred from entry into the US. The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced that 87 000 lbs of beef products, in the form of 12 oz cans of Libby's Corned Beef and 35 lb boxes of Seasoned Cooked Beef, distributed through the Sampco facility in Chicago, were being recalled. After routine sampling, it was discovered that there were 12 incidences of a level of Ivermectin that exceeded the tolerance level, prompting the recall.
