Germany asks for improved practices after norovirus

GERMANY has finalised the inquiry conducted by its food safety department on the causes of the outbreak of gastroenteritis that affected thousands of children and adults in the past weeks, confirming the strawberries were indeed contaminated with noroviruses (NV) and coming from China. As the investigation has ended, it appears that no operational irregularities were found, while there seems to be no talk of tightening quality standards required for Chinese products.
