Brazil seeks faster agchem approval process- correction

Brazil has approved two formulated products based on new active ingredients and recognised one product dossier for a new ai as complete so far this year, according to the generic agrochemical industry association, the Aenda. The association has not said that Brazil had approved just one new ai last year, as previously reported on Agrow’s online service. The national health surveillance agency, the Anvisa, approved several new ai dossiers last year, including for Bayer CropScience’s insecticide, flubendiamide, the herbicide, Soberan (tembotrione), two Bayer fungicides, prothioconazole and fluopicolide, and Syngenta’s fungicide, mandipropamid ( Agrow passim).
