US approval for Syngenta's sedaxane
Syngenta has received US approval for three seed treatments based on its new fungicide, sedaxane. They will be sold under the Vibrance brand for use on cereals, soybeans and canola. The review of sedaxane was jointly carried out by the EPA and the authorities in Canada and Australia, with peer reviews by France and Brazil. Syngenta received Canadian approval for four sedaxane-based seed treatments in April ( Agrow No 639, p 26).
